We need someone who's genuinely interested in helping people through real-time chat conversations. If you're naturally patient, good at breaking down problems, and can make customers feel valued, this role might be perfect for you. Your focus will be on listening to what people need and working collaboratively to find actual solutions that work.
Day-to-day, you'll be responding to incoming chat messages, figuring out what customers are trying to accomplish, and guiding them toward resolution in a clear and direct way. You'll develop an understanding of what creates frustration versus satisfaction, and you'll apply that knowledge to improve how you handle each conversation. The core of this job is putting yourself in the customer's shoes.
You'll also notice common themes and trends in customer interactions. This kind of insight becomes important data that helps drive improvements to products and services down the line.
Rate: $35 per hour
Requirements: You'll need a functional laptop, phone, or tablet, plus reliable internet service. Clear written English communication is a must.
Skills/background needed: This is an entry-level position with comprehensive training provided. Prior customer service or chat experience isn't necessary, we'll walk you through everything required to perform well.
