Virtual Writing Assistant - App Tester (Remote)

Contribute to better mobile app experiences by putting new applications through their paces and providing candid feedback. In this position, you'll install and examine apps on various devices, then write comprehensive reports that point out strengths and areas needing work to guide product improvements. Enjoy complete flexibility to test apps whenever suits your schedule from any location.

Roles: You'll download apps onto your own mobile device, run through all the features systematically, and compose detailed assessments that identify what's functioning smoothly and what requires refinement.

Requirements: You'll need to have at least one working device available, such as an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $35 per hour, with potential adjustments depending on how complex the app is and how thorough your evaluation needs to be.

Skills/background needed:

• Experience installing and using apps on smartphones or tablets
• Independent worker who stays motivated without close supervision
• Attentive to detail and able to follow specific testing protocols
• Able to commit at least 5 hours every week
• Reliable, consistent internet access

Hours per week: Schedule your own testing sessions with complete flexibility.

Location: Test from anywhere in the world, though candidates currently in the United States are preferred. We're actively building out this remote testing team across different regions.
