Quality Control Writer - App Tester (Entry-Level / Fully Remote)

Your work will involve installing apps on your device, methodically testing their functionality across different platforms, and writing clear, honest reports about what you find. You'll collaborate with development and design teams to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability friction points. Your feedback will help create better products by highlighting specific areas for improvement through comprehensive testing documentation.

Roles: Install and test apps on your personal device by working through each feature methodically. Document your testing experience in writing and flag any issues or areas needing improvement that you encounter along the way.

Requirements: You must have access to at least one of the following devices: iPhone, iPad, Android Smartphone, or Android Tablet

Contract length: Ongoing, no set end date

Rate: $35 per hour

Skills/background needed:

A smartphone or tablet with the capacity to download and run applications
Ability to work independently without constant check-ins
Meticulous attention to detail when executing assigned instructions
At least 5 hours per week to dedicate to this work
Reliable high-speed internet connection
