Mobile Software Tester

As a Mobile Software Tester, you'll dedicate your time to ensuring mobile applications perform flawlessly and maintain high quality standards. To excel in this remote position, you'll need solid knowledge of mobile platforms, testing best practices, and the independence that remote work demands. Your ability to communicate clearly in writing and maintain a sharp eye for detail are critical, as you'll be responsible for documenting and reporting any bugs or issues you uncover.

Roles: Your typical week involves loading apps onto your own mobile device, putting each function through its paces, and writing comprehensive test reports that outline successes and flag any problems or glitches you encounter.

Requirements: You'll need at least one suitable device for testing purposes, such as an iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, or Android tablet.

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $35 per hour.

Skills/background needed:

Access to a smartphone or tablet with the freedom to install and manage new applications
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to follow detailed testing instructions and protocols precisely
At least 5 hours per week of availability
Stable, dependable internet connection

Hours per week: Flexible.

Location: Remote work from anywhere with internet connectivity, though preference is given to candidates in the United States.
