Manual App Tester (Remote)

Are you naturally observant and good at explaining what you find? Mobile app testers are needed to download apps, explore them thoroughly, and provide candid feedback. No tech background required, just curiosity and the ability to communicate clearly.

This remote position lets you work from anywhere you choose, as long as you can commit the required hours. The organizations behind these apps are expanding their testing teams and genuinely want people who are motivated to learn and contribute.

Roles: Your typical week involves setting up new apps on your device, working through different features, and documenting what you discover. You'll write brief reports about your experience and flag any bugs or problems you run across.

Requirements: You'll need at least one working device from this list: iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.

Contract length: Ongoing, with flexibility to continue as long as you want.

Rate: $35 per hour.

Skills/background needed:

A smartphone or tablet where you can download and use apps
Ability to work independently without needing constant check-ins
Keen eye for detail when following instructions
At least 5 hours per week available
Reliable broadband connection

Hours per week: Set your own pace and schedule.

Location: Fully remote, work from anywhere (candidates based in the United States are preferred).
