We're hiring a Live Chat Customer Service Representative for a fully remote position. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers reaching out with questions and concerns through live chat and email. How you handle these conversations shapes the customer experience and plays a crucial role in building brand loyalty.
Your typical day involves monitoring incoming messages, providing helpful answers to customer questions, and maintaining a professional yet personable tone even during high-volume periods. You'll need excellent written communication skills, the ability to juggle multiple conversations at once, and the mental stamina to stay sharp when things get hectic. If you have previous customer service experience, that's great, but we're happy to train the right person from the ground up.
What the role includes: Replying to customer inquiries on chat platforms and via email, answering product questions, sending relevant product information, and informing customers about current promotions and special offers.
Contract type: Ongoing, no set end date
Compensation: $35 per hour
Requirements: A working device for web chat and social media tasks, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Comfort working independently with minimal oversight. Commitment to following guidelines and procedures. A minimum of 5 hours weekly availability. Strong and consistent internet connection.
Weekly availability: 5 to 40 hours per week
