Your day-to-day work involves being the helpful voice on the other end of live chat conversations, listening to what customers need, and solving their problems with a friendly and professional approach. You'll handle a continuous flow of messages, stay calm under pressure, and build trust through excellent service every single time.
Managing several chats at once is a core part of this position. The ability to remain patient, organized, and attentive even when things get hectic is what makes someone successful here.
What the work looks like: You'll monitor incoming messages across chat platforms and social media, responding to each customer inquiry. Some conversations will be from existing customers needing order assistance, while others will come from prospective buyers wanting product information. You'll receive comprehensive training to prepare you for all the different situations that come up.
Contract length: No fixed term
Rate: $35 per hour
Skills/background needed: A dependable computer, tablet, or smartphone capable of running chat and social media applications is required. You should be self-motivated and able to follow established procedures independently. A minimum of 5 hours per week availability is needed, along with a stable, fast internet connection.
Hours per week: 5 to 40 hours weekly
