Junior QA / App Tester

Are you someone who notices every glitch, awkward interaction, and missing feature in an app? We need sharp-eyed testers who can evaluate mobile applications across multiple platforms and identify what's working well and what needs fixing. As a remote tester, you'll install apps on your own device, put them through their paces, and write clear, comprehensive reports about your experience. This is a great way to gain hands-on QA skills while maintaining complete control over your schedule.

Roles: Your main responsibility is to install apps on your mobile device and run through their features systematically to evaluate performance and usability. Once you've completed your testing session, you'll document your findings in detailed written reports that explain what you found, any problems you encountered, and suggestions for improvement.

Requirements: You'll need at least one of these devices to get started: iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, or Android tablet

Contract length: Flexible arrangement with no minimum commitment required

Rate: $35 per hour, adjusted based on app complexity and the thoroughness of your review

Skills/background needed:

Ownership of a smartphone or tablet capable of downloading and using applications
Ability to manage your work independently with minimal guidance
Meticulous attention to detail when executing test cases
Minimum 5 hours weekly availability
Consistent and reliable internet access
Hours per week: Entirely up to you, complete flexibility

Location: 100% remote, work from anywhere with internet, U.S. based candidates preferred.
