Inbound Customer Service Agent

What will you do as a customer service agent: You'll be the first point of contact for customers reaching out through chat and messaging. This position focuses exclusively on text-based conversations, so you won't need to take phone calls. Your typical day involves reading customer messages, providing helpful information about offerings, directing people to relevant resources, and telling customers about current deals and specials.

Qualifications:

• Ability to listen carefully to what customers need and provide solutions that genuinely help
• Excellent written communication paired with strong attention to detail
• Comfort navigating multiple computer programs at once
• Preference for a work schedule that adapts to your personal needs
• Willingness to take ownership of your work without needing constant check-ins

Responsibilities:

• Present and suggest products and services to both brand new and existing customers
• Reach out to prospects who have shown interest in available offerings
• Work toward sales targets that have been set for your role
• Address customer problems and complaints in a respectful manner
• Set up future conversations to keep customers updated on changes and announcements
• Write and create promotional messages for customer outreach efforts

Contract length: Flexible, no specific end date

Rate: $35 per hour

Skills/background needed: A reliable phone, tablet, or computer to access chat and social platforms. Experience working independently with the ability to follow instructions closely. Minimum availability of 5+ hours weekly. Dependable internet access required.

Hours per week: 5 to 40 hours per week
