Hourly Live Chat Assistant (Entry Level /Fully Remote)

As a Live Chat Assistant working remotely, you'll be the friendly face behind real-time customer conversations. Your primary focus is delivering prompt, courteous support to customers seeking help through online chat. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a calm demeanor, and meticulous attention to detail.

Your daily responsibilities will span multiple communication channels including live chat, email, and social messaging platforms. You'll tackle customer questions, fulfill special requests, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate customer information in our systems.

What you'll be doing: Most of your day involves responding to incoming chat and social media messages from customers. You'll answer frequently asked questions, share relevant product and service information, apply discount codes when customers qualify, and guide people toward effective solutions. No prior experience necessary, as comprehensive onboarding will prepare you for success.

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $35 per hour

Skills/background needed: You'll need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with reliable internet access to communication platforms and websites. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without micromanagement are important qualities. Following established procedures and guidelines consistently will be key to your success. A dependable, high-speed internet connection is mandatory.

Hours per week: Flexible
